EDUCATION MAJORS..…
The Education Department will administer basic skills tests in the next few weeks. Students pursuing a degree in Elementary or Secondary Education who have not taken or have not passed these tests need to plan to do so at this time. Students must pass these exams before being admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Students enrolled in Introduction to Education for Interterm 2010 will take these tests during Interterm. The WRITING EXAM will be administered Tues, Nov 17, and the WORKKEYS READING EXAM on Tues, Nov 3. Buy your tickets at the bookstore. Both exams will be given at 3:00 PM in the Education Department Curriculum Lab. Questions? Contact Joyce Loewen x1007.
THREEFOLD EVENT
Tabor alums, Jonathan Regier, Landon Tucker and Michael Woods are returning to Tabor for a Threefold Event, November 6-8. All three will take the stage again with comedy improv. We will enjoy a quality concert by Landon and Jonathan. Plus, we will be treated to a one-man tour de force comedy as Michael takes on the character of a phone clerk in a trendy New York City restaurant where he plays more than 35 characters and voices in this phenomenal one-act comedy you will not want to miss. These Tabor alums are donating their time and talent in appreciation for the arts at Tabor. After expenses such as transportation are covered, proceeds from the threefold events will be used to support needs of Tabor theatre productions.
The events will be held in the Chapel. Tickets for the whole evening are: $5/general admission and $3/Current Tabor students (an additional $1 per TC student will be donated by SAB). Purchase your ticket in Student Life Office or at the door. This is a no-pass fundraising event.
