Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, IA is currently looking for a full-time Director of Youth and Children’s Ministry with a passion for Christ and making Him known. The church enjoys a thriving ministry in Cherokee and the surrounding communities. MPC is committed to shaping the hearts and minds of local youth with the knowledge and love of God through His Son Jesus Christ.
Applicants should demonstrate the characteristics of a maturing Christian faith, the desire and ability to share their faith with the children and older youth of the congregation, possess a sense of call to work with young people, and a desire to see them grow into maturity in their relationship with Christ.
Experience in youth ministry and missions along with leadership skills are desired.
This is a full-time position with a very competitive salary. Help with continuing education and youth events costs is available.
