West Portal Church is seeking a team-building children’s minister with a passion for Christ, children and their families. The successful candidate has a vision for laying a foundation of faith for infants, preschoolers and children from K-6 and enjoys equipping teams of volunteers to help carry out that vision.
West Portal Church is a multi-generational Mennonite Brethren church of about 600 attenders, including a strong group of young families. We are a church with a culture of support and encouragement and a mission to transform lives and communities in fast-growing Saskatoon and the surrounding area.
Our children’s ministry includes a strong team of approximately 100 volunteers reaching upwards of 120 children. The position is up to .75 time, starting Feb. 1 (flexible). A full job description is posted at www.westportal.ca <http://www.westportal.ca/> .
