Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lindsborg, KS, is seeking a part-time Youth Director (approximately 8 hours/week), to start Aug 1, 2012. Both the junior and senior high youth groups are jointly sponsored by Bethany Lutheran Church in Lindsborg and the youth director will work closely as a co-director with Bethany Lutheran Church’s youth director. Their mission is to provide an environment where youth grow in Christ, Christian community and service. Furthermore, their desire is to see young people develop a growing interest in their faith, participation in and knowledge of the church.
An enthusiastic, caring individual with good communication and organization skills is sought for this position. The person should possess strong Biblical knowledge and an ability to appreciate and support Lutheran theology. The person will work with students from seventh grade through high school.
