Park City (KS) Christian Preschool is seeking a part time preschool director for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, from 8:30 am- 12:30 pm.
Job Description: Promotes and nurtures the education of students in a positive, Christian environment which includes but is not limited to; planning curriculum, greeting and interacting with parents as they drop off and pick up preschoolers, monitoring preschool students, teaching daily lessons and various centers that are planned for the day, implementing discipline as needed, providing a safe environment conducive to learning, and set up and clean-up daily before and after class sessions.
Skills/Qualifications/Responsibilities:
Must meet one of the following three criteria;
1. Five sessions of observance in a licensed childcare facility with each session being at least two and a half hours and one year experience in a licensed childcare facility or preschool,
2. Seven to nine college hours in child development or early childhood education and three months teaching in a licensed childcare facility or preschool, or
3. A child development associate credential.

• Signs and Symptoms of Child Abuse, Neglect and Illness
• Successfully pass a KBI background check
• Health Assessment which includes a TB test
• Ensure that all KDHE requirements are met and the Preschool is in compliance at all times
• Compose and distribute monthly correspondence of classroom goals and activities to parents
• Collect tuition and fees in a timely fashion and keep records of monies paid.
• Maintain staff needed
• Perform or coordinate required training
