Judy Harder, Tabor College professor of communications is excited to announce that the 2012 Homecoming musical will be “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” This is a lively retelling of the biblical story of Joseph and his 11 brothers through an assortment of music styles.
“’Joseph’ was enthusiastically received by Tabor’s Homecoming audiences nine years ago and is, in a sense, back by popular demand,” said Harder. “Because of the amount of interest, we have added a Wednesday performance. (We) are anticipating five sell-out shows.”
The show times for the musical are Wednesday through Saturday, Oct. 3-6, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct.7 at 2:00 p.m. Prices are as follows: adults $12, students $8, 12 and under $4. Special discounted prices for the Wednesday show are $10 General $6 Students $4 Children 12 and under.

The cast consists of several new students, along with many returning and eight children from the community. Along with the talented cast are many people assisting with music, choreography and costumes, making this musical a very unique performance.
