Biography:
Wendell’s goal as a teacher is to make sure students clearly see his faith in his teaching and in him as a person. He wants to help students wrestle with life and the world through the lens of Christ.
From the time students come as freshmen to when they leave as seniors, Wendell sees many of them come alive intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually, and that’s why he teaches at Tabor—he wants to be a part of growing God’s kingdom.
Wendell and his wife, Shelly, live in Hillsboro and are members of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church. They have three children: Taylor, Peyton, and Preston.
